Hinton Primary School - Access Control Case Study
PROJECT BRIEF
Client wanted to enhance security and access control in the primary school. We removed the existing Videx and 1byOne entry systems that were faulty, temperamental and poorly installed and replaced with a new Dahua IP video entry system.
PRODUCT
Dahua video entry system installed for a local primary school.
We removed the existing Videx and 1byOne entry systems that were faulty, temperamental and poorly installed and replaces with a new Dahua IP video entry system. We installed a new POE switch in the existing data cabinet, 1 x entry panel at the front door, a screen in the reception and another screen in the head teachers office.
When a visitor arrives at the door they can call both screens simultaneously and have a clear conversation with the staff who can then buzz them in through the door on the electronic latch. The staff looking at the screens will have a clear image of the visitor at the door. If a visitor has authorisation they can input a code which will let them straight in without the need to call another member of staff over to the screen.
We can even put this system onto a mobile phone or tablet via an app and the entry panel can call both screens and the mobile device too for times when nobody is in the offices
These Dahua entry systems are a very sleek modern design and work well in many other scenarios like residential apartment blocks, schools, offices and there is even a more simple doorbell version similar to a Ring door bell but with no monthly subscription costs.
