CLIENT ISSUE

Management company contacted us to look at their existing CCTV system covering the carpark to a block of apartments in the town centre. Due to the amount of vehicles in & out and the fact they are located in the town centre they required a good quality system.

The existing system was very old and in poor condition, all wiring was perished, multiple cameras & power supplies had failed. Incorrect type of cameras fitted that were not suitable for the job intended.

OUR SOLUTION

Installation of a new Dahua IP CCTV system with various fixed lens cameras, a motorised var-focal lens bullet camera & an auto tracking PTZ camera for the main entrance.

All new external grade data cabling and a new Dahua NVR in office.

The client wanted a clear image at the main entrance gates which is quite far from the main building so we chose a PTZ camera. The PTZ camera is parked at a preset by the main entrance gate. Any human or vehicle that enters the gate will enter into a box to trigger the auto tracking feature, this means that the PTZ camera will follow a human or vehicle around the site until the camera loses sight of the human or vehicle. The camera will then revert back to the preset 1 position at the main entrance and wait for the next human or vehicle to enter the box.

We have also setup linkage action from 2 x other fixed lens cameras. This means that if a human enters the site from any of the other pedestrian gates they are recognised by the fixed lens camera and the fixed lens camera will tell the PTZ camera to spin round to that zone & lock onto/ track and follow the human again until it loses site of the human. It will then revert back to the preset 1 at the gate again.

We also have complaint CCTV signage all round the site and a yearly maintenance package in place.
